My Father's House Missions International is a non profit organization currently working on the outskirts of Kampala, Uganda, East Africa. We have partnered with needy mothers and widows in their pursuit to overcome poverty. Combining savvy business skills, beauty, and empowered creativity, they are finding their way out of poverty by recycling items such as elephant grass, banana leaf, and magazine paper into incredible works of fashion art. Dignity Designs, our income generating project for their creations, is giving these women dignity by empowering them to use their own skills, gifts, and talents to earn a living and provide for themselves and their children. These strong women engage in tedious time consuming work that produces gorgeous colorful jewelry, purses, and other items.
All the proceeds from our store goes back to help us continue to support these women and grow their businesses as well as to help us fund our projects providing homes and education at our school Royal Hope Academy in the heart of the muslim slum community Busega.
Thank you for your interest in our work and for supporting us, these women, and hundreds of children in need by purchasing our products!
We have also included our two worship CD's, one an original album released by our founder, Rebecca Sorensen, and the other an african praise and worship album featuring Rebecca and the choir of Royal Hope Academy.
